Both of you are very big wrong. The mini-series should have advertised heavily on billboards and TV guide that Brando himself was appearing in Roots: The Next Generation. Almost no big advertising about this.

And how am I wrong? I barely remember this mini-series.
A TV Guide with Brando on the cover should have been put out. Inside a story should have discussed The Godfather film of his most. With minor mention of ' On the Waterfront'.

You still haven't said why I was wrong. There isn't anything incorrect in my original comment.
Brando went unnoticed by most viewers when it was on. Winning an emmy after the miniseries aired does not mean many millions of people noticed when the show was airing or rather knew enough to specially tune in to see a man who was the greatest actor ever to most. He could have been an extra with no dialogue and millions would have extra specially tuned in anyway to see him if they had known he was in it when it was airing. Big TV guide and billboard coverage would have made more aware.

He played a Nazi (George Lincoln Rockwell) in one episode! He also won an Emmy for his portrayal.
