We'll see how it goes - or if another one submerges as the leader. Checked Moviechat, which copied some of the more recent posts from IMDB, but not sure what it offers beyond that.

Did you see that last reply I sent on the Bye Bye post from Inglorious Sister? Think it was my final words on IMDb.

Went in last night for a final check and it was already shut down. Comment says it was shut down on 2/20, which hadn't arrived yet, unless they are going by European time, in which case it was a few minutes after midnight. Guess they were standing by with their finger on the switch...

Don't mean to beat a dead horse... But what was IMBD thinking? They had a proven success record. Now I can't think of any reason to go back there.

There are tons of threads/replies covering this in the IMDb discussion boards - should check them out...oh wait... ;-)

No I did not get around to it fully because when I went to respond they removed the boards. It was only late afternoon on the 19th in my time zone, so yes, they pulled the plug early. It felt like spite- like they really wanted to hurt people by doing it even a day early. I couldn't believe that. I was looking forward to reading your post and inglorious sister's. Anyway, agree, hopefully a good replacement establishes. This isn't bad for now, but not much activity, even in reviews so far, and still haven't figured how to enter ratings...Hopefully, they can develop it further.

FYI, Inglorious basically thanked everyone for the good conversations...and I then thanked her for adding some estrogen to the mix, and reeling some of us guys in from going full blown Heisenberg (no offense). To you I mentioned that we started on the BB boards around the same time (latter half of 2015) and appreciated your BB passion...not to be dampened by the trolls and what seemed to be an increasing number of negative posters.

Yes, I went full heisenberg, lol! When I first joined I would get trolled so heavy, and all I was doing was being honest about my opinion...Wasn't expecting that bc there were many fans, I would battle back. Took me about a year to learn to really not respond to trolls and how to tell the difference between a troll and honest critic (still not sure all the time).

Btw, I'm also johnnyutah ;) I formed a new one too to defend myself from the trolls! Haha!

It's a shame those same trolls may have ultimately led to the close of the boards. I don't blame them. It would get out of hand, but eventually I learned to ignore them.

Dang, now I'm trying to remember the replies I had to JU. Believe "he" was fairly active around Christmas and the marathon. Did JU write the White Christmas post? Or what were some of "his" more memorable ones?

Hello to all. I used to post as KLockard23 over on the Breaking Bad boards. I meant to say my farewells too, but they shut the boards down early (as others have said) and I didn't get a chance to... Closed 'em down at around 5 or 6 PM from where I'm at. Bastards.
