I think so. I went into this with high hopes, after listening to all the hype. It was a complete disappointment. I kept watching it, thinking it would get better, but it didn't. I'd give it a 5.5/10.
Was the target audience male teens? That's all I can imagine liking this so much. That and adult males with arrested development.
I should have known better though, since the people who raved about it were mainly manchilds I work with - single 30 somethings who spend most of their time playing online videogames and wore breaking bad related swag.
Just another embarrassing fad like Brittany Spears.
If there was actually any talent going on there, both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul should have been huge by now. But neither have done anything of note since.
Bryan Cranston has been terrible in anything I've seen him in since. He pretty much ruined Sneaky Pete with his scenery chewing. I was embarrassed for him.

Agreed. They should have aired it on Saturday mornings.

Nailed it.
Couldn't get through the whole series. Anna Gunn and Aaron Pauls's "acting", in particular, were cringeworthy. I saw one guy in another thread say that BB along with Saved By The Bell and Beverly Hills, 90210 were three of the all time greatest shows, lol, which I think explains the fan base for this show.

No, that title is reserved for Game of Thrones.

I couldn't agree more with this, I'm so sick of hearing about this show all the time.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It is perfect. All the drama in it make sense. The thrill that comes from watching it overpower inhaling crystal.

By calling it perfect you're just confirming how overrated it is. I love some shows, not this one, but I wouldn't call any of my favorites even perfect.

Well it's my favorite show of all time, I love almost everything about it, the acting is terrific, the cinematography is beautiful, the writing is brilliant, in just a first episode you understand everything about Walter white, you may say that acting is very bad but even Anthony Hopkins himself was appauld Bryan Cranston for his acting, it's just as close as perfect as it can get for me.

And if you sum up the entire fan base by just one guy by the story you told that I don't even know true or not I think it kinda retard.

Lol it was a joke...like when you were a kid or in school what were your favorite TV shows? As for Breaking Bad, that wasn't a joke, nor were Seinfeld or Jeopardy...after them it's just personal favorites growing up.

Great show imo especially writing wise. Dexter was overrated.

I disagree. At first I didn't like it either. Watched whole first season and it was just okay, but after second season it became quite tense and interesting. Last season was bomb and 14th episode was just shocking. I think this TV show was perfectly crafted masterpiece. That title of most overrated TV show in history in my opinion belongs to Game of Thrones with it's horrible ending. Breaking Bad had well developed characters. Acting was superb and episodes were so interesting that I wanted to watch one after one.
