So I watched a bit of Breaking Bad, a few episodes, after friends and media hyping it being cinematic, better than movies and not just another TV show... etc...
Sorry... It felt very small screen, very TV show... Yeah, it's probably better than most TV shows, but not at the level of the first couple of seasons of Mad Men, Game of Thrones or even The Wire... Or even a solid mini-series like Chernobyl, The Night of, or Devs... A far cry from actual movies...
It's not bad. I don't think I'll watch any more of it. Not at the level people talk about it as having...

Breaking Bad is a show that gets better and better as it goes along. I was also skeptical of it's reputation during the first handful of episodes.
