Loved it! That zombie dressed as a knight lol my mouth dropped that was crazy! I loved seeing Daryl see Carol but she will find out about negan and killing Glenn and Abraham. Do you think that guy why can't I think of his name, will be turning on a negan?

Exactly I just can't believe none of them have turned on him sooner. Especially when he's sleeping if I were one of the "girlfriends" or wives whichever is would have killed him in his sleep

Yeah that zombie was deadly. I just wished there were a group of them after Rick. He got away too easily in my opinion.

Right!!! Because I could never ever figure out why the walking dead on imdb community they was no actual talk about the show instead it was about talking dumps etc ugh it was the only board that did that too very strange

It became a designated lounge area for trolls, who knows why?

Dwight hates Negan's guts. How could he not? Actually, I think this is one of Negan's key mistakes that will eventually come back to bite him in the ass. Stealing the wives of your own subordinates (and whatever he might tell himself they are not willing partners) is one of the dumbest things a leader could do. Other than killing one of their children nothing will make a man hate you that much. Do you really want to surround yourself with people you need to be loyal, who spend every moment in your presence fighting off the urge to make a move? Eventually someone's going to come at you, not caring if they die as long as they take you with them. Or you'll wake up in the middle of the night with a blade in your chest, or your throat slashed, by one of "your" wives. If he wants to build a harem there are plenty of unattached refugees flowing in all the time. When Dwight decides the situation is right he's going to turn on Negan. We all know it.

Totally agree. I think with Negan (like most things with Negan), it's about power. Sure, he could have his pick of unattached ladies, but he gets off on the power trip of taking another man's woman. It's still a stupid move though.

Absolutely. A warlord (which is what Negan really is) or a mob boss needs their inner circle to be absolutely trustworthy. If they're all just waiting for your guard to drop so they can drop you, that's bad. You're living on borrowed time. He needs to be brutal with his enemies, but generous to his friends if he wants to cement their loyalty. That means sharing some of the spoils and ... among other things, not screwing their wives, especially not through some kind of coerced arrangement but it's never a good idea under any circumstances. That group needs to be solidly behind you. Home base shouldn't be a place of danger, where you have to worry about getting fragged by your own people.

Subbortinating ones subordinates significant others seems like a recipe for disaster. I think it would tend to build a great deal of resentment.

I just cannot wait for the finale!!!! I don't read the comics but I did read an article that this season is going by the comics so I did know who was going to die. I don't mind spoilers because I can still enjoy the show

It does. That's the problem. We're talking about the people you spend time with in a room alone without a second thought, the ones who are your trusted lieutenants and act as your bodyguards. They need to be family. Brothers and sisters. You take care of them, they take care of you, and you all thrive together. It doesn't matter if most residents of the Sanctuary (i.e. all those people who do the scut work) pray for his death every day. As long as his close cadre is genuinely loyal he'll be fine. Negan's mistake is in treating those people he needs to trust just like he treats Rick and the folks in Alexandria. Messing with their heads, taking every possible opportunity to emasculate them and make them feel two inches tall. I think he expects Dwight to betray him eventually, that's why he rides him so much, but even a guy like Simon (the one who came to Alexandria looking for Daryl) would probably love to knock off Negan and take his place. There's no true loyalty in his organization. Everything's based on fear.
