I enjoyed seeing Daryl and Richard fight behind that truck trailer that was from SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT. That was an awesome Easter Egg!
I thought that was so freaking cool. π
Hollywood really doesn't get rid of anything. How cool is it to have something that was featured in a 70s movie on the big screen, show up on the set of a television show and episode shot in 2016?
I actually paused the show and searched the truck because I was convinced it was the same one. One of my friends beat me to it on Facebook. But when you do a comparison, it's exactly the same. They later confirmed it during the quiz on Talking Dead. A really really cool Easter Egg.
@Nubyan: the song was a huge hit for Mr. Reed, a "country crossover". It was released in the early 1970's. I was a young teenager then; I used to play that song on the jukebox while battling a pinball machine in the local hangout. Am I wrong in thinking that it's mostly young people who visit these forums? I'm an old hippie and I still think I'm cool, but this thread is starting to make me feel very dated. π

Lalalalalala Lalalalala, when you're hot you're hot and when you're not, you're not. πΆπΆπΆπ€π€π€ Ooo Ooo, when you're hot, you're hot! πΆπΆπΆ
I remember the song.
Yeah, you're totally wrong. The board(s) is home to all ages. There's so much diversity here...it will make your head spin.
And, I'm sure that you're still pretty damn cool. π

I believe Jerry Reid was driving it. When you're hot, you're hot!

Nice catch! I noticed the painting on the truck, but didn't connect it to SATB.

Is anyone here familiar with the song I mentioned by Jerry Reed? "When You're Hot, You're Hot"?

Maybe. The title rings a bell but I can't think of the tune. I'll have to Google it to know for sure.
