Just speaking from my own experience, I was banned for no reason, without any warning. Several other people here are saying the same thing. It looks like the admins from that board then took it a step further, following the people that moved here and reporting and getting their accounts banned here also.

Not true. It's not the admins from there that are banning accounts, I can assure you. 2 of my accounts have been deleted.

The moderation here is simply just stronger than IMDb.

Aren't you one of the got mods or cronies? Quite odd you would show up within minutes to contradict my post. This seems like nothing more than damage control. The more I see, the more I believe the posters' here version of things.

As for the damage control thing, yoy shouldn't be so quick to let others influence your thoughts. In a matter of days we'll be merging with IMDb 2. There's no need for damage control.

I just checked. registration is closed. Posters i saw on got are now posting on imdb2. He is telling the truth. Looks like you just got caught in yet another lie. What's the point? I agree. I have been reading through a couple of threads now on this board and it's just bizarre. They come from another board, to attack posters they banned on that board, and now they claim they don't care. If they didn't care they wouldn't have banned anyone to begin with, and certainly not followed the people to another board. I've seen this time over again, when immature insignificant people get a power trip from running a board and can't keep it professional. One of the reasons why this place seems to be the perfect IMDB replacment (it might even become better than IMDB). The people running this site have done it for a while and they know what they are doing. They didnt just throw up a genereric proboard in a week. The guy here seems to be writing all the code himself too. That is impressive!

Unfortunately, the thing that you fail to realize is that you've been banned or removed from every forum you've been a part of. Whether it was IMDb, The GOT board, or even your own forum(lol) and judging by the moderation on this board you won't be lasting long here. I'd feel sorry for you if it wasn't so funny.
