Off-topic threads are not banned, so the OP is allowed to post this here -- although the subject should be marked OT or Off-Topic.

They also should not be in a place where they have absolutely no meaning/place at all. There is "off topic" and then there is this post.

I don't know if this is this is the case in THIS situation, but a lot of times you develop a rapport with a certain group of posters on a board and you want to talk about something off-topic with that group of people... I just don't think this is that serious of a situation where someone needs to be chastising the OP for this thread. The subject is clearly non-TWD, so if someone has an issue with off topic threads, they can simply not click on it and read the off topic thread. ((especially since all i ever see is this gotboard, imdb2, tMDb drama on here.))

The people who are complaining are off topic posters trying to start drama with me. Someone created a thread about Bill Paxton's death and nobody accused him of being off topic. Clearly I'm being targeted by Hungry- a guy that was banned at another site because he was a racist. This is a movie message board so I'm talking about an actress not personal issues like they were. But it's fine. I posted on the Fences board and got a response.
