By that I mean, will we see Coulson return to the MCU or will we see Characters disappear before our eyes on this series? That would be a nice tie-in to the films.

Coulson will be in Captain Marvel and yes -- I hope the finale ends with some disappearances too

I am hoping that he appears in the 2nd part of Infinity War, now that Fury is gone, someone has to take charge.

Well he may not be around either. We won't know until the season finale of Agents of SHIELD if he (or anyone) disappears into dust.

Since SHIELD was renewed only for 13 episodes next season, I wonder if it'll start in February or even March, closer to the premiere of Avengers 4... They can get a handful of episodes in before characters start to reappear.

So it's been confirmed that SHIELD will be coming back after Avengers 4 comes out. SHIELD will now be a summer show it looks like:

Crap move by ABC to make sure that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D can no longer be used to promote the movies. Looks like they want to prevent Disney from stopping them from canceling the show like they did last season. If ABC keeps pulling this shit, the mouse will be looking to clean house in that station.

Or they may tie it into the events of Avengers 4 after everything has settled down, The AOS may feel the effects after Infinity War has ended. I feel like they were unprepared to be renewed, so they need the extra time to develop storylines for the upcoming season.

I thought "The End" was the series finale. What did Coulson meant when he told Jemma to find him?

I think them getting renewed was a surprise, so they wrote a script that was basically the end, I am not sure if they did some last minute reshoots once they found they got renewed to carry the story into the new season, basically I think they were caught off guard once they found out that they were coming back for a season 6. I was also confused about Coulson's line as well. I also noticed that they did not have some sort of remembrance ceremony for Fitz as well, which I found odd, maybe it will be played up in the next season.

Find Fitz, who's technically still alive frozen somewhere to go to a future that no longer needs him.

As the previous poster said there were two Fitz', the one that was frozen and orbiting space heading to a future that no longer needs him and the one that is from the future and went back to the present and ended up dead. He told her to go find the Fitz that is orbiting space somewhere.

I didn't realize there was a Fitz2. I'll have to check the earlier episodes. Thanks for the clarification.

It's really just one epsiode in the first half of the season where it was entirely focused on Fitz and how he was left in the present time instead of being sent to the future. The only way to get to the future was to freeze him and send him to space or some !$#@.

I saw that episode, but I thought he woke up in the future.

He did, but in their current timeline he's still frozen in space somewhere.
