True. It was a sign of his brainwashing that he was willing to get that far despite the obvious innocent body count. Great tension, though! The show takes risks so you can't just say "nah, that'll never happen"

Well you should watch the next two seasons too to see what happens. It may be a slow start the first few episodes but then some real amazing plot twists happen.

You can't expect Brody to reason like a normal person. Don't forget that he's been through years of torture and brainwashing, MKUltra-like techniques were probably used on him. He's kind of like the Manchurian Candidate.
