Yes!!! other than Boyd, Mags was the most memorable villain to me. It's hard to find a series that keeps my interest. Any suggestions?
Wow that is a wide open question. Let me give you a few that I have been recommending to my adult children and friends that they have thanked me for. These are all pretty much on Amazon Prime or Netflix so i'm not sure if you subscribe to those. In no particular order...
Longmire - seen all 6 seasons, really good with great scenery
Bosch - I've finished 3 season of 5 and surprised I never heard of it before
Bodyguard - only one season so far, but excellent. Still negotiating for season two
Orphan Black - this would normally not be my cup of tea, but it is addicting and you can't deny the acting chops of Tatiana Maslany
Tin Star - season one is awesome with great bad guys and twist, season two was a real disappointment, more great scenery
Broadchurch - just finished season 1 of 3 and watched it because of the long, long post on this site, gripping and excited to see more.
The Marvelous Mrs Maisel - this is a comedy that you should check out, it's not for everyone, but it's really the only comedy I am watching right now, can't wait for the new season.
As far as the free channels go... I was really into The Blacklist, but it needs to end, it has grown stale for me. I still love Blue Bloods, but you don't want to think too much about the plot holes. And all three of the Chicago shows (Med, Fire, and PD) are guilty pleasures that I would like better if all the coworkers weren't all sleeping with one another. But really I won't miss any of those 5 shows when they are gone.
Just watched season 1 of Tin Star. It was quite good. I did not see the "twist" coming. I'm not sure if I have it in me to watch season 2, though. Everything/everyone just seemed to go way off the rails!!!
Glad you like it, but I will warn you IMO season 2 pales in comparison. I wrote a review that you can read HERE. It somewhat has some "spoilers" for season two, but it really doesn't give away details, just my complaints. But if you know you are going to watch season two, you may wait until afterwards to read it.
I read the review ( spoilers don't bother me). I may watch season 2 but will take my time with it (I pretty much binge watched season 1).
I feel bad for hijacking the Justified discussion thread but it has been dead for so long. I miss the days of IMDB message boards.
Thanks again!
