ITV's new soap Echo Beach is just days away from launching and a new producer called Jonathan Pope is hired. He makes sure he is public enemy number 1 in the production office, as he throws out everyone's ideas and brings in fresh new ideas, stories and characters. Everyone disagrees with the ideas but Pope is convinced his ideas will make Echo Beach a ratings hit. Is he right? Time will tell... Welcome to Moving Wallpaper the show set in the fictional production office of the soap, Echo Beach.

As Jonathan feels out of the loop and the tea run, he moves into the production office, distracting the writers with his noisy habits. But Jonathan's attempts at being nice gets on people's nerves and upsets them.

With no Jonathan for this crucial episode, Sam is left in charge.
