Ohhh - where are the IMdB people this season? I was hoping they would come here. Well - here are some thoughts on the new season.
First - loved seeing Chris Kattan do 'Where Is Love'.. But I'm so taken aback at how troubled he seems. I hope he comes back for the finale with a great funny showstopper.
Then - Nancy - when you did that stupid, tired, finger-pointing move at the beginning of the second show - just too much cringe. You've lost me.

Hey! I was hoping someone would come on here and snark on this show, LOL! I watched the first week but not last week. I think they have too many ringers....Normani Kordei (spelling?), Heather Morris (come on, back up dancer for Beyoncé?)? I felt so bad for Chris Kattan, but he did say he broke his neck like 20 years ago and is having lingering issues from numerous surgeries but I thought he was having other issues too. I thought Nancy was good but like they say the gymnasts and ice skaters always seem to do well on this show. The people that always impress me are the football players. And of course they have to have the "are they or aren't they dating couple" so we can all tune in just to watch them. It will be fun to see how far Mr. T and Charo make it though. She is just crazy! I don't know if she's even listening to the critique or not. We'll see!

agree totally on Charo!!! I think hers may be one of those producer-coached acts. Good point about the football players - they always surprise me.

I admittedly haven't been watching this season, but I've never liked Nancy Kerrigan. She always seemed stuck up to me and she wasn't very gracious when she got the silver medal in that one Olympics where the Ukrainian girl won (I think it was the games that happened just after the Tonya Harding thing).

I'm glad we have gotten through the sob story week. I'm looking forward to a Disney week.

agree that was a great Disney week!
Now I'm watching the semi-finals and this is kind of a bummer: 8 times so far in the show the judges, Tom, and Erin have all spoken to David Ross in the PAST tense - I'm so glad we got to see you this season, you WERE what this show is all about, etc etc.. letting us all know he's the one leaving in the first ten minutes of the show. Even if we all know it can't we keep up the premise until the final announcement? Maybe we're all experienced enough and this is just the show being transparent. Did the cumulative judges scores just make it impossible for him to pass anyone at this point?
I guess it just bothers me because he was such a favorite...

whoops - Now I've watched to the end. ok - revision - The judges & Erin were talking as if they THOUGHT they knew who was leaving.. I still didn't like it. Goes to show how important the votes weigh in.
