the Alpha Vampire he was awesome. Also hope the Leviathan don't come back otherwise they'll need Lucifer.

LOL i actually expected them to kill off Alpha Vampire and mentioned it on IMDb board for this, he was infact the last known big baddie alive, killed so easily :( the moment i heard he was appearing in this episode, i knew they would use the colt to kill him...no other major cool baddie left now (bar crowley and lucy) :(

Yeah. I thought killing him so easily was a missed opportunity for some great drama in the future.

I didn't mind. He hasn't appeared in over FIVE seasons. And he was in only like three episodes (counting this one). It's not like he was some big recurring villain. Besides, killing him made it more believable for Sam to join the British Men of Letters.
Sam said it himself. For as bad as everything went, the Alpha Vampire is dead. They took a major game piece off the table in one night and inflicted a massive blow on the vampires.

Yep, he was kind of cool, but it wasn't a big deal. They probably didn't think they would get the actor for any length of time, so why not kill him off?

I was just about to mention that. When I saw him in the solicits for this ep last week I figured it was to wrap up his character on Supernatural once and for all.

Yeah, when Death made a comeback at the end of season 10, I knew he will be "dead" too..fuck you supernatural, stop killing of all the cool characters, honestly, when Crowley dies, i'd stop watching the show.........so how many cool bad/ good characters are left now?

I've never cared for Crowley, it's to the point now he's OK (for a while there I couldn't barely stand him) and never liked Rowena either (she's gotten OK in small doses though), but I wouldn't be worried about either of them.

I liked the Alpha too. Even though he wasn't in very many episodes, he was still in the back of my mind. I wondered if he was causing issues, or acting as a leader and keeping his children in check. ...but we can clearly see that killing him has caused the vampires in Mystic Falls to go away. 😯
