I have to say I was always slightly annoyed by Kai's character but never thought his storyline was quite done. In addition, as I've been quite disappointed with the last few seasons' writing, and not so keen on the whole Sirens storyline, seeing Kai come back reminded me of the good old days and was a refreshing and welcome! Actually, a few moments in this last episode reminded me of the good ole days of TVD...

As evil as Kai was, he's kinda fun. I wish they'd make him redeemable

I thought he was gonna be redeemable until bonnie betrayed him and left him in that hell..when he got out he wanted revenge..if bonnie didn't do that (even tho she had her reasons) i think he could have been redeemed..

Agreed, I had just satrted to understand and like Kai better at point, enough to feel sorry for him. Maybe the reason for bringing him back here is to help save the day!

Ya i wonder if he will actually bring Elena back..in the series finale preview stefan and Elena are talking and she's asking where she is..i wonder if they both die and maybe they are in heaven. My other thought was maybe they all become human..I'm not sure how far the blood will go..like if caroline takes it frok Stefan..then damon takes it from caroline..and Elena wakes up..then they all can have a happy human life together...please do not give me an ending like true blood..
