I kind of thought that Bonnie would die and be reunited with Enzo. I figured that the girls would be okay because of the spell or because of Bonnie using the last of her "juice" to save them. Then we'd see Elena wake up.

I don't think I'd have been mad if I saw Bonnie walking away happily with Enzo into a pleasant afterlife for a couple reasons: (1) She doesn't have much going on right now. All of her story arc has been about Enzo and they don't have much time to throw in many other story elements for her. (2) If she has to sacrifice herself, (which will probably happen because Bonnie doesn't get the fairy tale wedding (like Caroline. Sure the wedding wasn't the one of Caroline's dreams but it was still pretty darn nice until the reception) or the reunion focus that is inevitable for Delena, dying to save the girls would have been easier to swallow for me as a viewer than seeing her pine for Enzo for how ever many years.

I sort of feel like they might do a death reunion scene anyway though. I kind of picture it like Rose at the end of Titanic, but I just think it would have had more impact in this episode.

I hope the last episode is great and goes out with a bang (with a lot of Katherine!). 😁

Honestly at this point I have a feeling that we won't see Katherine at all.

I hope so, I want to see Katherine a heck of a lot more than I want to see Elena.

I heard there was some off screen drama going on and that ians wife doesn't want him in a romantic scene with nina. Which is why they probably went the katherine route. But if that's the case then we prob won't get a delena reunion.

Dear Julie, When you advertise an episode about Katherine you better deliver. That was cheating of the worst kind, even if Nina couldn't even commit to 2 episodes. Good to see Kelly and Vicky again, I#ll give you that.

I agree, we should have seen Katherine. I honestly couldn't care less about Vicky or Kelly, I think the ship sailed a while ago on focusing on Matt's family. I think they should have given Matt this storyline with his family tying into everything some seasons ago, not throwing it in the last minute of the last season.

Was a disappointment not to see Katherine at Stefans wedding. Hope the last episode is great. We need to see Elena for real with Damon and Stefan and all others. I feel no closure otherwise

I was a little disappointed in it as well; I was really hoping that Katherine would wreck havoc in some way. After watching this episode, I definitely think Bonnie will be the one to die. I don't think Caroline and Stefan will get a happy ending despite being married. How can they when Stefan is human and Caroline doesn't want to be? I'm starting to believe the rumor about Damon erasing Stefan's memory and taking him to live a human life somewhere else. I also think they are going to use Caroline to bait people into watching The Originals and throw a little Klarline bone in there. Why else would they show Klaus in the promo for the finale?

Was Bonnie afraid of losing her connection with Enzo if she used what power she had?Everyone looked beautiful in this episode but not seeing Katherine was disappointing. I thought we see more characters from the past sneaking out of bell also
