S01E13 is actually the start of the second season and is named Episode 14 but if you follow tmdb guidelines then it has to be S01E14 per the official site. I don't agree with this and have tried to fix numerous other shows but...
According to you episode numbers from the official source are the only data point that matters, well the official source starts season 2 with episode 14 so per your guidelines it has to be changed to S01E14.
Another anime entry complete broken by tmdb guidelines...

I thank you for that very helpful comment superboy97, it would appear you didn't follow your own, so oft repeated comment, and read that previous content report yourself.
This report is about the episode numbers which are wrong, that report is about the season numbers which are also wrong.
First you decide you can delete seasons because you don't like the way designer's label them now you decide the episode numbers don't matter any more either.
How could it possible be right that now when I watch (your labeled) episode 13, the title screen with the episode name and number says "Episode 14 - Another Kudo House".
That is just plain wrong.

No reply, raze64 or superboy, about how episode numbers are the very most important data point until they can't fit into your obtuse ordering so you just ignore them as well...

First, I wasn't even a part of this report so I don't know why you wanted me to reply when I wasn't even aware this report existed. Second, we are not on the Content Issues section 24/7; we also edit and contribute like regular users. Third, we try to mirror the official networks (for regular TV entries) and official anime websites (for anime) as best we can and sometimes mirroring 1-to-1 isn't possible, especially when a TV anime has an OVA/ONA that is considered part of the official order but wasn't part of the original TV broadcast.
While the OVA is officially episode 13, it was originally released as part of a special edition of the light novel's eighth volume and did not air on TV. Since it was not broadcast as part of the original run of the first "season," it gets added to the Specials season. As the original broadcast had no 13th episode, the episode number is not skipped in the regular seasons; the new episode is added as the next episode. It's the same reason Bungo Stray Dogs skips its OVA in the regular season without skipping the episode number and Monogatari has the "seasons" that aired on TV as regular seasons and has everything else (except movies) in the Specials season.

Where in your so called guidelines does it state that you can change episode numbers just because?
