There are now 3 separate show entries for MST3K.
- "Mystery Science Theater 3000", which has seasons 1-10 (TOS),
- "Mystery Science Theater 3000 (2017)" that contains seasons 11 and 12,
- and now another "Mystery Science 3000 " 'show' that seems to be for season 13 but is being confused with TOS.
- Has anyone actually asked Joel how they expect their creative content to be grouped?
- Why does the new season 13 'show' start with season 3 if it's not supposed to be part of the (2017) 'show'?
- Shouldn't the new folder be recognized as ""Mystery Science Theater 3000 (2022)"?
PLEASE - can we get some semblance of order? Thanks!

Agreed, as much as I would like to see it as the continuation that it is, it probably shouldn't be moved back to the 2017 show because it's a "cancelled" status Netflix show that is locked for editing. It at least needs 2022 Season "3" changed to Season 1 but I can't change it. In the meantime, I've been updating cast members, their characters, and headshots since we're almost halfway through the new season.

Very much this. The Gizmoplex, the OFFICIAL streaming service, has the current one listed as season 13 and the Netflix ones as 11 and 12. All three of them should be listed with the original 1988 show.

The real question here is, why can't we correct the info ourselves instead of having to wait and hope it gets fixed someday?

Before season 13 started, there were two entries for the show. This was confusing enough, as they are considered by the creator to be a single show in continuity despite cancellations and changes in platforms. Now we have three separate shows listed... THREE! This is one show. 13 seasons, 1 continuity, 1 show. I don't see why this is so difficult.
Let's examine some other shows: This database has all of Futurama listed under a single show. Why? Because despite being canceled multiple times and moving from broadcast to DVD, then to cable, it is all one continuity. One show across multiple seasons, media, and channels. Mystery Science Theater 3000 is no different. Seriously, you even have Twin Peaks: The Return listed as the 3rd season of the original Twin Peaks from 1990! Why would you have The Return listed as a third season when it was shown over 25 years later on a different channel? Is it because the creator of the show was involved and says it is a continuation of the original series? Sounds familiar.

Wikipedia and the MST3K crew (at Gizomoplex) both agree, this is one show with 13 seasons.
