Since The New Batman Adventures is a completely separate tv page, I don't think it can be listed with BTAS. Perhaps with the future universe feature Travis has planned, we could have the two shows linked to each other. We do have an episode group for the DVD order of TNBA, though.

hm that's a shame. i assume creating a second version of the show called "Batman: The Complete Animated Series" (as is the title of the bluray set is) would not be great either, right?

Correct, it would be deleted for being a duplicate.

Rebecca, thank you for leaving a link to the "Production" entries for Batman the Animated Series. It lines up with the Blu-Ray release, and I would like to use it to get naming automation within Kodi or Plex. This is the first time I have tried to use TheMovieDatabase for a TV series within Kodi. I have tried for several hours, and have not found the correct way to name folders and files for this. Within Windows at the root of my drive, there is a folder called "TV". Within "TV" folder is a sub-folder named "Batman the Animated Series (1992)", then another sub folder named "Season 1 (Production)", then the files are named "Batman the Animated Series S01E01" and so on.... When I tell Kodi to scan it doesn't pick the Batman series up.
Within Kodi, I have the TV folder set to use "TVdatabase" as there are other TV shows within this root folder. Also within Kodi, I have set the "Batman the Animated Series" folder to use "MovieDatabase". Keep in mind that "Batman the Animated Series" is within the Root folder called "TV". If you don't know an answer for Kodi, I understand. I am hopeful you can look at my folder/file naming and tell me if I've done something wrong. Please help if you can, I'm lost......

I don't think you can use themoviedb for tvshows and then use production order. i can't even find a setting so it will use regular dvd order. I'm using firestick and latest android build of kodi as far as i know. i had to use tvdb for this one show which is kinda annoying not being able to use one site for everything.. tvdb also has only dvd order sadly, not production.

thanks for linking that, will keep an eye on it. love how moviedb implements those things, would be awesome if kodi starts using it nicely :D
