Thanks. Well, I love the first season but I think the second season is my favorite. Once the show was "in living color" and was riding a wave of popularity, I think it really hit it's stride.
But I even like the "bad" episodes from season 3 for histories sake if nothing else.
When I was a kid I had a couple of comic books but I lost them somewhere along the way. Now all I have is one of the paperback novels. It is cool because it is not a novelization of an episode but is a completely additional "affair". I also have the entire series in the collector's edition DVD set.
I looked up some information on Robert Vaughn he campaigned for john Kennedy in 60. he considered a political career of his own.
I know he was pretty liberal. After "Uncle" was finished, he went to Europe to work because he'd come out against the Vietnam War and LBJ wanted to blacklist him.

I go with Season 2. Three is where they got on the Batman campiness craze and ruined it.
