A disc jockey is beaten and then disappears, a fellow D.J. who witnessed the beating hires the Simons to find out what happened to her co-worker.

The mayor of Abalone Bay (aka as Sin City) hires the Simons to prove that his ex-wife, the chief of police, is trying to kill him, but when they get there, it's the mayor who's being indicted for murdering the chief.
