Item: Season 1
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: Alvin and the Chipmunks usually aired stories in pairs. For example, season 1, episode 1 was actually "The C Team" followed by "The Chipettes" after a commercial break. They were aired on the same day, at the same time, back-to-back, so I think it would follow TMDB's guidelines to have these combined into an episode named "The C Team + the Chipettes" and have a single description that mentions both stories. Right now season 1 says there are 25 episodes, but there are really only 13. Twelve two-parters, and one longer episode.
While it's nice to have separate metadata for separate stories, this isn't true to the originally aired episodes and creates a problem for media servers where we'd have to split single episodes in half and "episode 1" would have the intro song while "episode 2" would just jump straight into a title card with no intro (because it's actually episode 1b).
The entire series would need alterations, but here 's a partial corrected mapping for Season 1 based on how it's currently built out: Episode 1) Combine episodes 1 and 2 into "The C-Team + The Chipettes" Episode 2) Combine episodes 3 and 4 into "Uncle Harry + Rock 'n' Robot Episode 3) Combine episodes 5 and 6 into "The Television Stars + The Cruise" Episode 4) This was a full episode: "The Chipmunk's Story" Episode 5) Combine episodes 8 and 9 into "Mr. Fabulous + Grandpa and Grandma Seville" ....and so on and so forth.
Wikipedia has air dates and episode numbers (1a, 1b, 2a, 2b) that can be used as a guide to consolidate what's already in TMDB: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Alvin_and_the_Chipmunks_(1983_TV_series)_episodes

As per our rules, the segments need to be separated. I quote : "For kids cartoon with two or three distinct stories (segments) per half-hour, each episode should be split so that each segment is an episode. For example, "Going the Extra Milo / Sunny Side Up" should be two episodes. The main reason for splitting the segments is that segments are often released individually and/or paired with a different segment in subsequent releases."
