It was not an error but a choice (not mine!) to start "Master Minds" with season 2 on themoviedb. Season 1 was elsewhere, because the show had a different title at the time: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/218472-best-ever-trivia-show/season/1

Different websites deal with the change in title differently, so there apparently is not one "right" answer. Rotten Tomatoes treats "Best Ever Trivia Show" and "Master Minds" as two separate shows, and starts numbering Master Minds with Season 1, as you suggest. However, wikipedia has a single page for both: "No. of seasons Best Ever Trivia Show: 1 Master Minds: 3". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_Minds_(game_show) imdb has season 1 under "Best Trivia Show" as season 1, and then starts "Master Minds" with Season 2, as it was here up until recently.

The information I just saw in the TV bible seems to indicate that the change made in 2023 should be reversed, to combine information for "Best Every Trivia Show" (as it was known during season 1) and "Master Minds" (as it has been known every since then) into a cohesive whole. What has become Master Minds season 1 should go back to being season 2, season 2 should become season 3, etc. I base this off this information from the tv bible:

Any new title for a rebroadcast or a subsequent release (e.g. a DVD release) are added as alternative titles.
