Discuss The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse

Item: The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: This series was released in seasons, with season 1 spanning episodes 1-24. (not 1-32) This is reflected by on the official website, IMDb, Wikipedia, and everywhere else that I've looked.

I also can't find anywhere that the episode titles were all in caps. I was preparing to edit these, but that content is locked.

I'm happy to help correct this information, but can't with everything locked.

The official website uses continuous episode numbers (currently up to episode 27). As per the anime guidelines, the episodes should be listed in a single season.

They are in all caps on Netflix.

@raze464 Thanks for the reply. I saw the Season 1 and Season 2 banners under the Broadcast Information tab, but didn't check the Story tab. Odd that they list them as seasons but use continuous episodes.

As for the caps, wouldn't you also use the official website, or does Netflix trump that? I also figured a true DB site like IMDB would trump Netflix. Seems odd that the original series, and nearly the bulk of all shows use title case, but this series screams at you.

The only website with English titles is Netflix as they are the network that airs the show outside of Japan, at least for English-speaking countries.

They are in all caps on Netflix.

on Netflix the is two seasons. Merging seasons to one is the COMPLETE MISTAKE. Seasons need to be separated. TMDB anime guidelines is COMPLETELY WRONG and need to be changed.

Netflix is not the original network, the 28 affiliates of the Japan News Network are.

According to the official website, which uses continuous episode numbers, it's not a mistake.

Seasons need to be separated.

You can use the episode group that's available: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/218843/episode_group/66ff5333925fdf925b7cb1f3

TMDB anime guidelines is COMPLETELY WRONG and need to be changed.

Why do you think they're wrong? According to the official website, the first episode of Season 2 is episode 25, but it can't be added as such on TMDB because seasons always start with episode #1 and the anime uses continuous episode numbers.

What do you suggest the anime guidelines be replaced with in a way that does not conflict with the regular TV guidelines, which anime entries also have to follow?

You can use the episode group that's available: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/218843/episode_group/66ff5333925fdf925b7cb1f3

Episode Groups is not a seasons. Seasons is a Seasons, Why YOU dont use Episode Groups to respect continuous numerations of the series and leave seasons as it is to respect ORIGINAL SEASONS SEPARATION as it is on ANY other databases exept TMDB?

Episode groups are for alternative episode orders that are not the default order, with "default order" being original broadcast by air date and following original episode numbers. They can be used for whatever a user wants as long as it's different from the default order.

This entry already respects the continuous episode numeration in the default order by having all episodes in a single season since the anime uses continuous episode numbers.

The first episode of a season on TMDB for both regular TV entries and TV anime entries cannot be anything other than episode #1.

All databases have their own rules regarding anime, just like TMDB has its own.
