Oskar looks for his place in Madrid in the 1980's. Orphaned and hardened by the difficult environment in which he grew up, at 27 only one thing is clear to him: he has to get ahead no matter what. So the day he crosses paths with the mysterious and rich Sara Farad, he leaps at his chance to peer into the luxurious and exciting life that could await him with her and her family...

Oskar moves in with the Farad family in Marbella. In less than a week he's gone from barely paying the rent for his apartment in Aluche to living with Sara in the family's luxurious mansion, from riding across the city on his motorcycle to sailing on a yacht across the Costa del Sol. But not everything will be so easy: to be a Farad, you have to prove yourself.

Leo wants Mawad's head, and he'll do anything to get it... even make a deal with the Americans. While Oskar and Sara welcome the birth of their first son, the rest of the family takes a plane to Czechoslovakia with the excuse of enrolling Tanya in a singing school. But Leo's true intentions are actually quite different...

The war has reached its climax in Angola. Oskar and Sara accompany Leo to the front lines to close a cannon sale. For the first time, Oskar has first-hand knowledge of what the arms business is all about. Meanwhile, in Marbella, Hugo is determined to show his family what he is capable of by putting an end to the conflict with Mawad once and for all.

Carmen decides that the time has come to make a deal with Mawad: she's unwilling to take any more losses in her family. But the deal can only be closed if blood is shed one more time. Oskar's defining moment has arrived and he'll have to face what it truly means to be a "Farad" with all its consequences.
