Why are you so stubborn? How many people need to show you clearly that this is the second season of the series Monsters: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13207736/ ? So what that Netflix decided to treat it as a separate series? Can you understand that services that are doing a scrapping of series against your database are not able to do that correctly because you are refusing to follow the most OFFICIAL database like IMDB? Can you simply follow what IMDB is providing instead of following Netflix or Disney or HBO or whatever else???

IMDB is just a user database like TVDB or us, nothing else.
The official sites are the broadcasters : Netflix, Disney, HBO, etc.

Are you able to follow IMDB series structure like thetvdb: https://www.thetvdb.com/series/monster-the-jeffrey-dahmer-story#seasons ? Or maybe you don't want to do that and your goal is to piss off your users?

Anyone who streams the series through legal channels (i.e. Netflix) will find it as two different series, not two seasons of the same series.
