Good Run of Bad Luck
Danny agrees to help an ex-marine's wife out by caring for her 8 month baby boy while she attends an interview, but concern is raised when she doesn't return, leaving Danny to care for the child longer than anticipated. Meanwhile, Sam hosts Bernard Taylor (guest star George Hamilton) who intentionally throws all of his money down the drain so his soon to be ex gets half of nothing in the divorce settlement. Elsewhere, Mary, Nessa and Delinda go in search of a hidden treasure in the desert and become stranded in the wild until Clint Black (as himself), who's staying near by, finds the girls and rescues them from their nightmare.

When cutting-edge surveillance technology fails to catch a thief in the act, Ed must rely on good ol' human ingenuity to crack the case. Elsewhere, Mary (Nikki Cox) and Mike (James Lesure) intervene when a cheating husband is caught red-handed. Following Monica's sudden death, Danny becomes the main suspect. Danny and Casey arrives at the Montecito for a hostile takeover, but it appears that Monica's will leaves Montecito to a foundation for the blind. Mike is assaulted in the stairway after breaking up a fight, which leaves Danny, Ed and even Mary to find out whom could do something like that to Mike. Ed takes care of Monica's will, and her belongings.

Things complicate when Mike falls in love with one of the wives and Danny gets jealous about the intentions of the whale toward Delinda.
