BBC iPlayer has the 2005-2022 series separate from the 2023- series.

This is inconsistent with both IMDb and Wikipedia.
Given the cast, characters and showrunner are the same, it makes sense to follow them, I believe.
The BBC are likely listing it separately for the purposes of 60th anniversary events and the archive of episodes made available before the premiere of season 14 tonight.

Yep agree with this, makes no sense to have this be separate, just causes confusion

Russell T. Davies has previously announced that the show is restarting at "Season 1", so it seems to make sense to group these new specials with the "new" show.
