Teru Tajima, who sells her handmade menma only to establishments that she feels are worthy, visits the restaurant out of the blue. She orders a bowl of Akaneko Shoyu Ramen, making the staff nervous.

Sabu discovers that his special treats, "Returning Bonito Confit", have been eaten without his knowledge. He suspects Hana, who often eats his treats without permission, leading to a disagreement between the pair.

The owner of Ramen Akaneko rescues two kittens but is unable to keep them at the restaurant. The owner gives the two kittens, named Tart and Pudding, to a regular named Sasaki but Tart, an orange tabby, escapes.
