I watch this episode last night on MeTV. It's the first time I've seen it, in almost 39 years. Yes, by today's standards, this may be a cheesy 70's/80's sci fi series, but compared to the rest of the episodes, I remember this one very well, and think it's the best.
There are subtle references to Bram Stoker and the original Dracula, i.e. the Demeter, the ship that crashes into the space station was the name of the vessel bearing Dracula's coffin to England. Erin Gray actually had a chance to act, for a change. Sending Vorvon into the sun was a brilliant change from usual the stake-in-the-heart vampire demise.

:-( Still no joy. Must be my computer or my provider. But, the series is starting its third run-through from the beginning, on MeTV next Saturday, February 8th. I'll get to see it again, soon enough. Thanks wonder2wonder!

On the MeTV site it's episode 14 "Space Vampire".
Unless there's a change of schedule, it should air on Saturday 9 May 2020.

Just watched it again last night. As much as I like the Princess Ardala episodes, Space Vampire is still my favorite, and still the best of the series, imho!

Gotta agree, while Ardala usually steals the show (who wouldn't in that outfit?) this was the episode where Erin really got to show off her acting chops and she was brilliant! The crossover from terrified victim to sultry predator is amazing. I'm surprised this passed the 80s primetime censors but pre-adolescent me certainly wasn't complaining ;)
