Not really true:

"Fallen" - two-hour movie - first aired July 23rd, 2006
"The Time of the Redeemer" - August 4th, 2007
"Mysterious Ways and All That" - August 4th, 2007
"Someone Always Has to Die" - August 5th, 2007
"Il Gran Rifuto" - August 5th, 2007

At best, it has 4 episodes instead of 5, if you consider the TV movie to be stand alone and not associated with the later episodes.

If you missed the series when it aired, have no fear: The DVDs were released by Image Entertainment on May 4th, 2010. Three different items are available:

Fallen (The Complete Series, Parts 1-3)
Fallen: The Beginning (Parts 1 and 2)
Fallen: The Destiny (Part 3)

However, since the DVDs are a re-release, the movies should be deleted. At least part 2 and 3 (added in May/July 2019), if you consider episode 1 to be a movie, the series should start with episode 2 (being episode 1 then). They can be combined/connected when universes get here. I suppose those parts refer to the days on which they were released. Or perhaps the books?

You are quoting 2 different things.

The second quote that you have:

If you missed the series when it aired, have no fear: The DVDs were released by Image Entertainment on May 4th, 2010. Three different items are available:

Fallen (The Complete Series, Parts 1-3) Fallen: The Beginning (Parts 1 and 2) Fallen: The Destiny (Part 3)

This represents everything Fallen (The Complete Series, Parts 1-3) = Fallen: The Beginning (Parts 1 and 2) + Fallen: The Destiny (Part 3).

So only 3 parts for Fallen.

Am I missing something here?

Yes, I'm quoting two different things, but related, as they are the same content. The episodes are five, or four, because the first one is a TV movie.

The episodes however, were re-released on DVDs. The complete series (all episodes it seems), and the beginning and the destiny. Only parts of the episodes. The original TV movie, and two of the DVDs are now added as movies. Those final two movies are wrong to begin with.

I'm assuming it's like this. Since the final four episode are each an hour long.

"Fallen" - two-hour movie - first aired July 23rd, 2006 -> Part 1: The Beginning
"The Time of the Redeemer" - August 4th, 2007 -> Part 2: The Beginning (or the Journey as it's titled on TMDb)
"Mysterious Ways and All That" - August 4th, 2007 -> Part 2: The Beginning (or the Journey as it's titled on TMDb)
"Someone Always Has to Die" - August 5th, 2007 -> Part 3: The Destiny
"Il Gran Rifuto" - August 5th, 2007  -> Part 3: The Destiny

I think it should just be 3 parts.

  1. Fallen (The Beginning) - https://www.freeform.com/movies-and-specials/fallen
  2. Fallen (The Journey) - https://www.freeform.com/movies-and-specials/fallen-ii-the-journey
  3. Fallen (The Destiny) - https://www.freeform.com/movies-and-specials/fallen-iii-the-destiny.

As per my understanding, " Episode 1: "Fallen" - two-hour movie - first aired July 23rd, 2006 -> Part 1: The Beginning Episode 2: "The Time of the Redeemer" - August 4th, 2007 -> Part 2: The Journey "Mysterious Ways and All That" - August 4th, 2007 -> Part 2: The Journey Episode 3: "Someone Always Has to Die" - August 5th, 2007 -> Part 3: The Destiny "Il Gran Rifuto" - August 5th, 2007 -> Part 3: The Destiny

All the 3 episodes, "The Beginning", "The Journey", and "The Destiny" have runtimes close to 1 hour and 20 minutes each, which lines up with 2 hours including commercials.

Oh great, DVDs with different naming then how Freeform names it LOL.

However, that still doesn't change the fact that it's 1 TV movie, and 4 episodes. Combinations of two of last mentioned episodes, forming Part 2 and 3. Which is all I'm trying to say. And on TMDb you don't enter "parts" you enter episodes.

And you can create an episode group for the "parts"

The press release also mentions four additional episodes of "parts two and three".

The FALLEN Trilogy Weekend Kicks Off with a Two-Hour Encore Presentation of Part One, Followed by Four All-New Episodes of Parts Two and Three on August 4 and 5

That Freeform now lists it as 3 separate movies is of no importance.

The series has been fixed to include only its 4 episodes, and the Part 2 and Part 3 movies has been removed, being just alternate versions..
