When a mysterious black square appears in the middle of an apartment complex, suspicions develop between neighbors about the horrors it may bring. As mistrust grows, they slowly learn that the square isn't the only thing to be afraid of.

Growing up with addicts for parents, Abigail's only solace is an odd porcelain doll named Betsy. Only Betsy isn't like other dolls. She moves, speaks, cries - and Betsy wants Abigail to bring her to a dark tunnel in the middle of the woods.
