Guess they'll bring Dan back from the dead.

Maybe they will just pretend that the last season didn't happen or at the very least the last episode.

Networks must be salivating to get that cast back. Hope the writing is good with nothing stupid like Roseanne running for governor or the family won the lottery.

ABC has officially picked it up. It will air mid-season 2018. All the original cast is coming back. Sarah Chalke will be on but in a different role since Lecy Goranson will be playing Becky. Some people have been reading rumors take them with a grain of salt for now that Dan faked his death.

I also wonder how they will or if they will address where Roseanne said in the end that Becky was actually with David, Darlene was actually with Mark (Since the actor passed in like 2002 I wonder if they will write in that Mark passed) etc. I also wonder how they will address Harris was she supposed to be Darlene and Marks? Or did Roseanne just make her up and she never existed at all?

I haven't watched the last few seasons in years, but I remember hating the final season, but enjoying the twist thrown in the final episode. Having said that, I'm excited for a revival, but the only way I can see it working is to completely ignore the final season, especially Roseanne's final monologue

I wondered about that too because she also said Jackie was actually a lesbian but made her hetero. Originally Jackie really was supposed to be gay because she was based on Roseanne's sister, Geraldine. I read Geraldine's book, 'My Sister, Roseanne,' many years ago and she had said that.
