Can anyone explain the ending when Grover was talking to Steve about the K and L truck. I really didn't understand that. Why did Steve turn and stare at Danny?

He wasn't staring just at Danny. He was staring at the whole team because they realised that they, specifically were the actual targets for the dirty bomb, along with the governer and hpd. Well, that's the impression i got

Okay, just started watching this weeks episode. I'm never one to bash Danny, but his behavior towards Steve in front of all those cops at the start of the show was way out of line. Who does that?! I understand him being annoyed with Steve looking at something he considered private, but there's a time and a place and that was not it. Totally unprofessional and completely disrespectful to Steve, Duke and the cops in attendance.

Danny redeemed himself in the rest of the episode. I enjoyed it. I loved Steve's DIY survival tactics, it reminded me of the earlier seasons. Good episode.

Yeah, I thought the whole classroom scene was unprofessional and awkward! I love their bickering, but this episode took it to an over the top level. Danny is not my favourite character. I started watching H50 in season 2 or 3 and just never got attached to his cynical character. Sometimes I cant take him seriously as a cop. He has so many hangups (whiny, fearful, overly grumpy etc). I guess that's what people love about him. Steve is his exact opposite.
Steve is my guy, manly..sometimes to a fault.
Danny's line about his funeral was HILARIOUS

I don't think Steve was snooping at all. It seems that Danny left the list right out in the open. Sure, maybe Steve didn't have to look or comment about it, but Dannys reaction was way over the top. Jeeze, if he wanted it be such a private matter, why didn't he just make up this list at home?

I love Hawaii Five-0 except for Danny's bickering, it can get sooooo annoying. At the beginning of the series it wasn't too bad, but just got worse with each season. Danny is such a whinger, I wish they'd just tone it down a bit.

I was trying to be neutral and see it from both sides, lol. Danny knows Steve well enough to know that there was no way he wouldn't look and if he wanted it to remain private then, like you said, he should've just made the list at home. It was Danny who brought it up in that class full of cops, so his argument about it being private was ridiculous at that point.
Danny outdid himself this time - it was even worse than the 'playful' cough vindictive cough comments he made to the driving instructor before Steve retook his test.
I read a comment somewhere that said they thought it wasn't the script, but the way Scott delivers the lines which make them sound hateful/nasty rather than lighthearted. I'm not sure about that tbh, but I'll be looking out next time, lol.

Regarding Dannys privacy issues. While re-watching previous episodes on TNT, I remember Danny spilling the beans about Steves intention of proposing to Cath. That seemed like a pretty personal subject that maybe Steve would have wanted to announce himself. Of course, the proposal never happened. I though even back then that Danny was way out of line.

I have taken to fast forwarding through all of these non-police scenes in H50. That makes the actual program about 35 minutes long.

I"m glad somebody posted this thread. I didn't get the ending scene either. And yes Steve was dead wrong for snooping in my opinion. It was Danny's office and he's in there looking at his private sh-t.
