I'm going to assume that since I'm the first person to mention this, that I'm the only person who feels this way. It's the FINAL season of this show, and now FIVE episodes are being wasted on one storyline. This is not how I was hoping this final season would go. Further (and please know that if you have not watched episode 4 yet, I'm going to be listing spoilers, so continue at your own risk) WTF are they doing giving Sharon Cardio Myopathy (or however it's spelled). I don't know what the prognosis is since the 80s/90s, but the second it was announced she had it, I despaired because I immediately mentally referenced the movie Beaches (the original, not the horridly pathetic remake) because that's what Hilary had, and it was a guaranteed death sentence. Way to go writers, on massively upsetting fans!
I am just massively disappointed in the direction this show has been going since the first episode of the season. 3 episodes on this storyline? OK, maybe I could have dealt with that. But FIVE now? Which makes me wonder if the ENTIRE season is going to be wasted fully on this storyline with NOTHING else. sigh

You're not alone, or at least there's me. :)
I miss the old format of one ep = one case, with the final two eps maybe tying in together. At this point, yeah not sure where they're going with this, or if they're doing this really long 10-part story arch with the final three eps tying into stopping Phillip Stroh.
As far as giving Sharon cardio myopathy...the thing is they didn't know this would be the final season (and the creators are currently trying to shop it to another network). I guess they wanted a Damocles sword hanging over Sharon and Andy's marriage, figuring that would give them storylines to go to from here on out. They couldn't just be married, no that's too boring. lol

So we just got part two of another multi-parter. Anyone get the feeling Stroh is going to do something to Gus?

Bad news. According to IMDB's titles for Season 6, all the remaining episodes will be multiple parts - 4 parts apiece or so each. And I agree. I don't like the multi-part ones either - especially the last one with all the anti-Catholic comments week after week.
