Its far fetched to think this is all a ruse by Sharon to make Philip Stroh easier to catch, and the truth is that she's really, REALLY dead.

But then I thought about something.

It probably means nothing more than the show doesn't fall on traditional tropes or cliches. However...Andy is a recovering alcoholic, sober for at least a decade. If anything could make him relapse, it would be Sharon's death.

If she's really dead that is.

Probably nothing, and maybe they'll address this in the last few episodes, maybe an offhand remark about having to go to an AA meeting. Interesting site I found, and Andy has broken rule #1 already. But could all that alone time really mean he's secretly keeping a recovering Sharon up to date? Maybe the incident where she "died" coincided with a new heart being available.

Again, probably nothing, just thinking out loud and lol in denial. She's probably really, sadly, dead.
