R.I.P. Barbara Hale (April 18, 1922-January 26, 2017). As Della Street she was not only a loyal secretary, but also a confidant during the long hours at night working on a case.

So very sad. I never heard an unkind word about her as a person or an actress., or even about her character as Della Street. A very classy lady in every sense of the word.

Barbara was one of the most respected and beloved actors in Hollywood. I'm glad she had a good, long life. She was also very loyal to her friends and could keep a secret. She knew that Raymond Burr was gay, but she never let on that she knew; and she considered him to be one of her best friends throughout his life.
