Miss Universe 1995 was the 44th Miss Universe pageant, held on 12 May 1995 at the Windhoek Country Club Resort in Windhoek, Namibia. Chelsi Smith of the United States was crowned by Sushmita Sen of India at the end of the event. Eighty-two contestants competed in this year. This marks the first and so far only time the pageant has been held in Africa.

Miss Universe 2002 was the 51st Miss Universe pageant, held at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico on 29 May 2002.

At the end of the event, Denise Quiñones of Puerto Rico crowned Oxana Fedorova of Russia as Miss Universe 2002.

Hosted by Billy Bush and Daisy Fuentes and held in Panama City, Panama - This is the 52nd Miss Universe pageant. There are 71 contestants this year, but only one will be the winner. The judges have voted and Amelia Vega from Dominican Republic is crowned Miss Universe 2003.
