On that "other" board, now extinct, many posters tried to find Mission: Impossible connections to Star Trek. They're both Paramount productions from that era, which shared a lot of actors and some writers. It all starts with The Pilot. Eddie Paskey had a non-speaking role as one of the hotel patrons putting an item in that "infamous safe." Paskey was William Shatner's Captain-Kirk's-stunt-double.

Robert Justman was a producer on both shows. On ST: TNG, one of the Enterprise-D shuttles is named after him.

I'm not good with names, but the thing that stuck out most for me was when Nimoy and Mark Lenard had a scene together. It's been a long time since I saw that episode so I don't remember the specifics of the episode.

I don't remember that particular episode myself. However, Mark Lenard made one appearance of Star Trek, and many appearances on M:I throughout the series. He was usually one of the bad guys. My favorite episode with him in it was season two's The Trek.

George Takei was on the first season MI episode The Carriers and of course, on Star Trek for all three seasons except during season two when he took some time off of ST to play a South Vietnamese soldier in The Green Berets, which I found strange because George definatly looks Japanese, not Vietnamese.

She was also in a season one episode of The Original Outer Limits called It Came Out Of The Woodwork (no, I am not making that title up).
BTW, our beloved Martin Landau was in two episodes of TOL. The best one is called Than Who Was Never Born.
