I'm lost now. I remember very few episodes from season 4. Not this one at all. I want to keep this board as active as possible. So I may post things that really don't say anything relevant. Everyone, keep watching. keep posting. Maybe I (we all) may re-learn things from our favorite series. "Something needed to be said." ...if you know what I mean.
Your posts don't have to be that relevant. Mine are usually pretty meaningless either way lol. Well my next episode will be that 3-parter so I will post my thoughts on that one. Can't think of the name off hand, but maybe you remember that one a little bit. I know I don't remember much about it. Other than it wasn't one of my favorites, but maybe I'll think differently of it this time around.
Thanks Jayhn1111. I do remember season 4 as being, "the female spy of the week." A female guest star would be cast as a replacement for the MIA Cinnamon Carter. One of my favorites was Anne Francis, previously of Honey West fame. I always thought she was a hottie in that series, equally as gorgeous Diana Rigg in The Avengers.
NO SPOILER (I hope!) The 3-parter you're referring to, was The Falcon. When these nostalgia networks like GetTV and Antenna TV, binge-broadcast old series, The Falcon is the one from M:I that they always show! It has my all-time favorite guest spy Lee Merriwether as Tracey. I think I last watched it in August.
Please do share your impressions! Also, please do me a favor when you watch it, Jayhn1111. Let me know what happens to Prince Nikolai (Noel Harrison). I always remember that being a loose end they never tied up. THANKS!
@lima-2 Maria reporting for duty, Lima-2! I loved Mastermind. It was great how the IMF fooled the bad guy! Historical Movie Alert: Paul Stewart, the head bad guy, played Dr. Kaiser in the classic WW2 movie Twelve O'Clock High in 1949.

Right the Falcon. I don't know how I forgot that. I'm always too lazy to look these things up. Anne Francis was very good in the episode she was in. I liked pretty much all the women they used and they had a lot of extremely attractive women. Some I wouldn't have minded if they were regulars but I was ok with the weekly guest star. Tracey was my favorite as well. I love Lee Meriweather. I made a mistake when I said the falcon was my next episode. oops. It was the one before that. The Amnesiac. I watched it the other night. Very good episode with Anthony Zerbe once again. They had to make the bad guys believe that Paris was a guy that died in a fire and had plastic surgery lol. Really good episode. But I hope to get to the Falcon by the weekend.
@lima-2 : King Nicholai was replaced first by the other agent Sebastian, then by Paris, during the magic show in part two. They show him safe with Princess Francesca after she gets rescued in part two as well. I loved Noel Harrison's performance. Did you know that he was Rex Harrison's son?
@lima-2 One of my favorite female IMF agents was Arianna from season one's Zubronik's Ghost. Martine Bartlett didn't look like your average agent, but she did a great job.
@lima-2 I liked that although Dan and Arianna knew she was a fake, the fact that Dan didn't want Rollin and Barney to know that was cool. And she did have good instincts, which upped the "is she or is she not a real psychic" factor to them. Of course in the last scene, when they told her that they thought she was psychic, I love her reply: "That was my greatest performance." I wish that she could have been on more episodes.
I know this episode isn't everyone's favorite, but I was enthralled when I first watched. That epilogue scene capped IMHO a great episode. She had me hooked on her abilities up to that point. Almost a letdown, if you can imagine that!!
@Jayhn1111 I loved the performance Donnelly Rhodes gave in Mastermind. He was very nasty, even by MI bad guy standards. He was also in the season three episode The Freeze.

So true. When I first saw the episode at age 14, she reminded me of someone's grandmother.
