Husband and wife team Murray Hamilton and Madelyn Rhue will blow up Los Angeles unless the president removes certain members of congress and replaces them with...
I can't go on. I'm sorry, Mission: Impossible fans, but this was one of the most ludicrous hours of television entertainment I have ever seen.
Instead, I noticed the black patrolman. Since I'm a huge Star Trek fan, I immediately recognized him as one of the incarnations of the salt vampire. This one spoke Swahili to Uhura and almost seduced her into giving up her salt.
The thing is, I've seen that guy several times these past couple of weeks. He showed up as a bailiff when I was watching Hawaii Five-O and he was a bartender when I happened to catch an episode of The Wild Wild West on the old fogey channel way down near the bottom of my satellite programming.
So I spent the whole episode trying to remember his name. Twenty years ago, it would have rolled right off my tongue.
Maybe me watching the old fogey channel is appropriate.
Spoiler The IMF team had a plan that accidentally worked and the bomb got disarmed with less than five seconds left. I was not on the edge of my seat. I was slumped down in the middle of the couch trying to stay engaged and trying not to doze off.

He was Vince Howard, the guy who played officer Vince Howard on Emergency! (A show I sometimes watched when I was home sick from school.)

Thanks for the information. Don Marshall did a lot of tv work. He played a cop in a first season episode of Classic Mission Impossible.

I was re-watching Season Seven last weekend and was saddened to see that Barbara Anderson's final appearance as Mimi Davis is in this horrible episode.

@sukhisoo : I tried to watch Ultimatum a couple of days ago, but I only made it to the 15 minute mark. And during the time I spent trying to watch this episode I thought "sukhisoo was right, this is a horrible episode."
