Discuss Mission: Impossible

So I still have a few more episodes of season 6 left to watch and then season 7 but I am not sure if I want to revisit the '88 series. It has been about 20 years since I watched it. I remember thinking it was good but didn't knock my socks off or anything. So I am just not all that excited about it. I guess I still have some time to decide.

Join the other 99% of the human race, Jay. At least those of us who've managed to not fall prey to ebola, ISIS, AIDS, and the shock of discovering that Amber Heard's face and body can't compensate for her personality in the years that have passed between now and '88, are still here to spin a yarn or two yet

That post does not make my decision any easier grin Though it is only 35 episodes grinning

Yes, the 80's version was sad. I tried to watch a couple of episodes when it ran on the ABC network (I remember being so excited when I heard Mission Impossible was coming back!).

Maybe if you tried to watch it again you'll like it better

I don't think so. It has too many flaws that I can't overlook. Maybe it's because the series was filmed in Australia and they used a lot of Australian actors in it. Every single character from a foreign country spoke English with an Australian accent.

I am most likely going to watch it. I don’t need to buy it. I have tv recorded episodes I bought way before they officially released it so I do have it.

The present is an ideal time for dredging up forgotten TV shows from the 80s. At least until COV-19 mutates and begins to re-animate the dead, finally allowing us to put a lifetime's stock pile of assault rifles and our new chainsaw to good uses

I had not considered it from that angle

@mechajutaro radioactive You know perfectly well that The Walking Dead franchise will not allow any other Zombie tv series to air until they've milked the genre dry.
