One of many Capitol Police Department Officers who defended the US Capitol Building on January 6, 2021, Officer Jerome Goodman, helped save Senator Mitt Romney AND former Vice-President Mike Pence and his family on that date that will be remembered in infamy, from the violent mobs that came within one minute of getting their hands on Pence and his family and then helped Senator Mitt Romney escape shortly thereafter. So as a Senior Honorary Impossible Missions Force Agent, I propose that we make Officer Goodman, his fellow Officers, and members of the Washington, D.C. Police Department Honorary Impossible Missions Force Agents of our Organization. They have more than earned it.

Yes. I was impressed when I saw the footage. One guy facing down a mob. He kept them at bay for short bursts of time and when he finally did have to run, he led them on a chase to nowhere important.
Without his efforts, things would have been a lot worse.

This is not about politics at all, my fellow Honorary Impossible Missions Force Agents, this is about giving honor and respect to those officers who went out their way to do their jobs. So, if no one else wants to go there goes: to all of the brave mem and women of the Capitol Police Department and the brave men and women of the Washington, D.C. Police Departments, thank you so much for keeping the Capitol safe. A greatfull country will remember this. Live Long And Prosper.

Something that I should have mentioned before: since the attempted insurrection at the US Capitol Building on January 6, 2021, at least 4 police officers who had been at the Capitol that day were so traumatized by what happened on Jan. 6 that they committed suicide. Eternal Rest grant to the 4 police officers who committed suicide O Lord, May the Perpetual Light shine upon them, May they Rest In Peace, Amen.
