How to Handle Updated Episodes?

How should episodes that are rebroadcast with updated material be handled?
I've seen PBS do this multiple times for various series.
One example: Frontline-S37E20-Supreme Revenge was originally broadcast on 2019/05/21. PBS Page
On 2020/11/24, the episode was rebroadcast, PBS Page but with updated material.
Should the 2020 episode be created as a new episode?

Maybe 25%?
In this case they are updating the original documentary to reflect the handling of confirming Supreme Court justices.
