Aunt Clara comes to visit when Samantha meets Darrin's parents or the first time, his mother, Phyllis feels pushed aside, but his father Frank likes Samantha, thinking she's a lovely girl. When her daughter-in-law serves a magnificent dinner, Samantha confesses that it was actually Aunt Clara who helped her with the food, and that she is still learning how to be a magnificent cook.

Promising to behave when she meets Darrin's parents, Endora turns on the charm and is promptly accused by Darrin's mother Phyllis of trying to steal her husband Frank's affections. Frank takes Endora to a play when Phyllis refuses to go. Phyllis wants a divorce when Frank doesn't come home that night, but he actually locked himself out and stayed at the club. Endora and Samantha use a little witchcraft to get them together.

A reworking of the season 1 episode of the same name, this episode begins with Tabitha receiving her first letter from Darrin's parents, Samantha and Darrin then recall his parents' first visit in an episode-long flashback.

Endora and Phyllis, Darrin's mom, are competing against each other again. They each give Tabitha the same exact bear, but Endora gives her bear the power to ""shake its booty"". The bear discos its way into Tabitha's heart and Frank gets the idea to market the dancing bear. Using soem fast talking, Samantha dissuades a toymaker to produce bears for a next Christmas rush and Tabitha gets to keep the one-of-a-kind toy to herself.

If it is not the Tates that the Stephens are protecting from Tabitha's secret, it's the elder Mr. and Mrs. Stephens. As usual, Phyllis and Endora do not get along, and she thinks that Sam and Darrin are having a lovers' quarrel.

Phyllis is beside herself when Samantha makes her think that she has magic powers. It takes Frank to be turned into a mule and a mock seance to put some sense into Phyllis.
