The Rock calls CM Punk live from RAW

From what I gather, Vince McMahon and Triple H weren't very happy with Rock going off script and calling CM Punk after the crowd started chanting for him (which happened because they had announced AJ Lee as they were filming the Paige movie). Apparently, they sent a referee ringside to try and stop him.

From what I gathered, it was his way to calm the crowd down so they could film the scene without intrusive chants.
At this point, WWE needs the Rock way more than the other way around, so I doubt he'll suffer any real consequences.

The funny thing about Vince/Hunter being angry is that they didn't seem to have a problem with Steph taking her little shot at Punk on Raw a couple months ago, lol

Well, that's 'cause she was putting him down lol. Rock was calling him in a, "What's up, bro" type of manner.

The Rock can get away with it because of his star power outside of the WWE. Besides, Vince came out at the end, gave Rock a joke "You're fired!" and seemed to be in good spirits anyway.
