Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho-The PPV started a trend that would continue for most of the night. The match itself is quite good, but heatless. There's been next to no build since Wrestlemania, which in contrast had the best build of any match on that card. Still, of course you throw these two in the ring together and they put on a stellar bout, but then the finish came with Jericho winning the belt. I don't see the need for Jericho to go to Smackdown (at least not strong enough to justify this), and I certainly hope they're not having him vs Styles instead of Owens at Backlash.

Neville vs Austin Aries-A really good match. The cruiserweights are finally delivering on the main roster PPV's since Neville won the belt. Very fast and hard hitting match, but then came a DQ finish. In of itself not a bad idea, but coming right after the last match, it left me a bit peeved. Honestly, I'd rather Aries just lose and get out the cruiserweight division. This guy can easily be a main event player.

The Hardys vs Cesaro and Sheamus-Match of the night. This was perfect. A nice, slow start and builds up to a fever pitch. Matt Hardy took a pretty nasty cut, but they just let the match go on. Lots of nice spots and a really good finish where Jeff hits the swanton while Sheamus is pinning the wrong Hardy. The heel turn at the end was well executed, with a pretty brutal beat down. Where this goes remains to be seen.

Bailey vs Alexa Bliss-Another heatless match despite the home town crowd. Pretty good affair, but then came the ending. Smackdown was smart enough not to immidiately throw the title on Charolette. This felt like it was done just for the sake of having Bailey lose in her home town. The crowd barely seemed to react. It was like the life got sucked right out of them.

Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt House of Horrors-The first half was a pretty well done Final Deletion style gimmick. I'm assuming Bray had some involvement here, cause this seemed like something done by someone who had seen a lot of horror movies. This was an enjoyable diversion, complete with Randy's wonderfully cheesy acting. Then the second half came and it became a one sided beatdown of Bray Wyatt. He can't even hit sister abigail off a distraction, so Jinder needs to hit Orton with the belt a bunch of times before Bray can get the pin. Fuck this.

Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe-Pretty good match. It ended up in a dead spot, which did it no favors, and since Joe was working the leg, it was a lot slower than one would expect, but not necessarely in a bad way. The ending was done well. I would've preferred Joe just won, but this still make shim look strong, with Rollins having barely survived.

Roman Reigns vs Bron Strowman-This was a good main event. Reigns did great in selling his injuries the entire match. Despite getting some hope spots, Reigns was mostly crushed by the fresh Strowman, and than obliterated after the match. Roman coughing up blood was awesome and unexpected (unless it was legit, which I doubt). Fans chanting "Thank you Strowman!" and "You Deserve It!" as Reigns is walked away about sums up how well this did in getting Reigns over. Honestly, this storyline made Reigns look like an arrogant dickhead bragging how he's the top dog cause he beat Taker, and then getting a karmic nuclear warhead dropped on him in the form of Strowman. Regardless of one's opinion on Reigns, it's impossible to sympathize with his character's plight after how he's acted.

Overall: This is a very mixed bag. The action was all good, but the booking is frustrating. I'm not as willing to wait and see with Raw given their track record. It's better than Fastlane, but not by much.
