The friends are going to a dorm party and Emil is trying all he can to get at girl home. While the hunt for girls is going really well for Mads, Emil must, once again, see his attempts fall to the ground. Olau is considering to finally make a move on Ane, but Ane is more interested in cheering up her heartbroken friend Lærke. Øland rather wants to play computer at the party, and ends up meeting a girl and breaking the danish record.

The friends hot neighbor becomes single, and Emil get ready to move in and grab her. Meanwhile Ane meets an older guy with style and life under control, and she tries to transfer his adult life-vision to the boys. Mads gets in trouble with a girl when he can not remember he has been with her before. When he starts to have feelings for her, he must try to make amends.

Mads decides that he wants to be an actor when he gets the chance at an audition for a feature film. The friends soon realizes that he is talentless and can't figure out how to tell him. Olau end up on a shopping trip with Anes friend Lærke and tries to question her about Ane's new relationship. Meanwhile the friends have arranged a special surprise for Øland's birthday.

When Ane hears that Olau is going to Africa for 6 months, she does everything she can to make him stay. Emil and Mads takes the chance when there is needed a new tenant for the apartment above. They agree that is should be a woman, but that is also the only thing they agree on. Øland is responsible for warning the unpredictable upstairs neighbor Klaus about Olau's going away party, and even though he fears the man, he must later realize that they have more in common then he thought. The closer the going away party comes, the more drastic means does Ane feel compelled to use to make Olau stay. But it is hard without revealing why.

Mads initiates a crazy plan to get better visibility to the lesbian opposite neighbors. Ane gives Emil a friendly nudge and puts his music on the net, but Emil gets depressed as he can not handle the subsequent criticism. Øland is temporary for the caretaker Klaus and abuses the responsibility that comes with the title. Olau is having trouble with his boss who unjustly pulls him in wages, and Ane continue to disturb him for completely different reasons.

The big poker night is upon us and all the friends look forward to a decent round of locker room mentality. Ane goes on a wellness trip with Lærke who says that she is sexually frustrated. The boys get in a fall out over the poker game, and it turns out that Øland has new hidden talents. The play-urge takes over and suddenly the friends are at a casino with their last pennies while Ane must exceed her borders to help Lærke with her sex life.

The friends goes to a cottage to celebrate New Year's Eve. Mads and Emil are disappointed by the lack of girls, but when Lærke shows up, a fierce battle begins for them to get her attention. Ane uses the special evening to tell Olau about her feelings, and gets a very unexpected reaction. Øland wants to celebrate the New Year with lots of firework, but it gets out of control and it becomes a New Year's Eve they will never forget. Especially Ane, who gets a surprise that turns her life upside down.
