Ever since starting his hunting career behind the camera filming Utah mule deer hunts, it has been a dream of Derek Leininger’s to get back out west and hunt himself. Having spent time in this area in the past, he was fully aware of the caliber of bucks it was capable of producing, but had no idea what he was about to encounter.

After hunting elk with Flatwillow Creek Outfitters, Skyler and his dad Mike decided to also put in for deer tags and were lucky enough to draw a couple different ones for both whitetail and mule deer.
