The link you give can't be used as a proof as it present broadcasts that will took place on Monday January 4 and Tuesday January 5, not the original broadcast of Sunday January 3. (This series was directly released in syndication and it was broadcasted on different days depending on the channels).
But, I have finally been able to find a newspaper snippet that present that original broadcast of Sunday January 3 and it confirm that it was broadcasted as a single 2 hours episode.
